MyCanadianBusCommLab offers the best multimedia resources for business communication in one easy-to-use place. Students will find more than 80 model documents, as well as guidelines, tutorials, and exercises for Writing, Grammar, and Research, plus an extensive bank of diagnostics and practice for grammar review.

MyCanadianBusCommLab is appropriate for any business communication course where instructors want to give their students additional resources in business writing, research, and document design, and/or access to basic review and extensive practice in grammar, style, mechanics, and usage.

With more than 80 model documents in ten categories (memos, reports, proposals, definitions and descriptions, letters, and more). Plus more than 50 interactive documents that include rollover annotations highlighting purpose, audience, design, and other critical topics. MyCanadianBusCommLab offers samples in all the important business communication categories.

Taking the market-leading resources for writing, grammar, and research that users have come to identify with the program, the new MyCanadianBusCommLab integrates those resources with an online composing space and new assessment tools. In the easy-to-use composing space, which looks and functions like the most popular word-processing programs, resources are available at students' fingertips as they research, draft, and revise; students can get the help they need when they need it, without ever leaving their writing environment. All student work in the course can be saved in MyCanadianBusCommLab so instructors are able to access and manage their students' writing in one place.

In this same space, students can view instructor, peer, and tutor comments on their work, pulling together all the feedback they need to produce better writing. The intuitive commenting functionality of the new MyCanadianBusCommLab will save instructors significant time by allowing them to insert favourite comments and common errors. It also allows instructors to create personalized study plans for students by linking to topics in the Resources library from the student's own writing.

The Portfolio feature is another key enhancement in the new MyCanadianBusCommLab. With only a few clicks, students create e-portfolios of their work that they can easily share with their instructor, other evaluators, and peers. Students can include multimodal compositions in their portfolios, export them as HTML or PDF files, or continue adding to them throughout their college career and beyond.

The To Do section of the new MyCanadianBusCommLab enables instructors to easily create and deliver assignments online and helps keep students on track by listing due dates and assignment details in one place. Another feature designed to keep everyone on track, is the flexible Gradebook. By capturing student grades from self-grading aspects of the site and the grades given to writing assignments by the instructor, the Gradebook allows instructors to easily assess student and class progress.

Students can use the new MyCanadianBusCommLab on their own, benefiting from the composing space and its integrated resources, tools, and services, with no involvement from the instructor. Instructors can integrate MyCanadianBusCommLab into their traditional or online courses to whatever degree they like: from simply using exercises in the Resource section for homework, or extra help, to delivering their entire course online. An eminently flexible application, MyCanadianBusCommLab can be used in whatever way an instructor finds useful for their course and teaching style.
