Extensive knowledge and experience in classroom teaching and citizenship education

Mark Evans
has worked extensively in high schools in Ontario as a teacher, department head and consultant. Mark is actively engaged in research in the areas of citizenship education and participatory learning and is also the lead author of the Civics 10 curriculum.

Terezia Zoric
is the Coordinator of Equity for the Toronto District School Board and has taught history and social sciences at an inner-city high school. She is co-author of Connecting Canada, a constitutional resource for teachers and students.

Mike Slodovnik
is History Department Head at Thornlea S.S in York Region. He has co-authored and contributed to a variety of books and teacher resource guides on law and politics for teachers and students. In 1993, he received the Excellence in Education Award from the York Region Board of Education.

Rosemary Evans
is the Director of Academic Studies at Branksome Hall School. She has been a teacher, department head, and consultant for the Peel Board of Education and a vice principal in a Toronto school. Rosemary has co-authored several texts in the intermediate division. In 1999, she received award for teaching excellence from students in the pre-service program at OISE.
