Gina has taught French and ESL for over 20 years. While teaching for the Dufferin-Peel Roman Catholic School Board, Mohawk College and School of Continuing Studies at the University of Toronto, she was heavily involved in programme design and development. She received the Excellence in Teaching Award in at the School of Continuing Studies in 1998. Gina is currently a French Instructor at the School of Continuing Studies at University of Toronto and a freelance Developmental Editor and Writer. She is the author of the module Action jeunesse! in the Ça marche! 2 series. For the past 4 years, Gina has worked with the FSL team at Pearson Education Canada in the development of On y va! 1 et 2, Nouvelle frontières and Ça marche! 1, 2 et 3. She lives in Toronto with Brian, her three children and Brittany Spaniel.

Helen Coltrinari holds an MA in French (University of Toronto) and an M.Ed. from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE). Helen has worked at the North York Board of Education where she had been a teacher, department head, and summer school principal. She has a long history of involvement with TVOntario in many capacities such as producer and Head of K-12 Education, Professional Development, and Accreditation. She has written teachers guides and developed classroom-ready resources for both core French and immersion classrooms. She is a published author and an effective and popular seminar leader. In addition, she teaches courses at the graduate level at Brock University in the Faculty of Education. Recently, Helen completed a major research report on French Second Language Proficiency Testing in Canada for the Canadian Association of Second Language Teachers. She is a past president of the Canadian Association of Second Language Teachers.

Polly Dobie has been a core French and Creative Writing teacher for 12+ years. She was a member of the provincial team involved in writing the BC IRP in 2000, and is currently co-authoring the Ça marche! Travel unit. Polly has also reviewed many of the other Ça marche! units.

John is the Consultant for French and Languages in the Winnipeg School Division. He has taught both Core and Immersion French. John also teaches FSL methodology at the University of Winnipeg and works for Second Language Education at the national level on the Canadian Modern Language Review and the Canadian Association of Second Language Teachers. John is an advisor and author on the Ça marche! series for Pearson Education Canada.

Trudy is a contributing author for Mes trésors, mes souvenirs, in the Ca marche! 3 series. She has enjoyed a broad range of experience teaching elementary and junior high FSL classes for Edmonton Public Schools since 1982 and as a teacher representative during committee development of the new Alberta FSL Curriculum. Trudy was the Edmonton Public School Board District Co-coordinator of Le Gala Français 2005 and a Resource Reviewer for Alberta Education. Trudy also presents Core French Workshops for Pearson Education Canada to provide examples of communicative/experiential teaching and evaluation processes that reflect actual classroom learning situations and improve student achievement. Trudy has also experienced Immersion as a parent of three children in the French program and as the year long host of an exchange student from France.

Nancy Fornasiero has worked in the field of education for over 17 years. She began her professional career as a teacher of French, English, and ESL at the Secondary Level for the Metropolitan Separate School Board in Toronto. Primarily, her experience lies in the realm of educational publishing where she has held key roles in the development of FSL materials for both elementary and high school students. Whether acting as editor, pedagogical consultant, or author, she has played a vital role in the creation of Passages, Voyages, Acti-Vie, On y va! and Ça marche!, among other programs.

She was the National FSL Consultant and Product Manager for Addison Wesley Longman and Prentice Hall Ginn. | Léo-James Lévesque is Supervisor of Second Language Programs 1 to 12 and Literacy K-2 for School District 18 in Fredericton, New Brunswick. He has performed consultative and advisory roles in the development of new French Second Language curricula in New Brunswick. Léo-James has also lead numerous professional development sessions, and has taught at the Elementary, Middle and Senior high level in both Core and French Immersion programs. David O’Brien began his teaching career in Africa and continues to teach FSL at the junior high level. He is presently teaching French and English at a school in Coldbrook, in the Annapolis valley of Nova Scotia. He is an active participant in the professional development of his local school board. For over 15 years, Brigitte Patenaude has been teaching French Immersion at the elementary level and Core French programs at the secondary level in British Columbia. She is presently teaching grades 8 through 12 Core French and is the acting department head at Prince of Wales Secondary School in Vancouver. She presents workshops in B.C. on project-based and self-paced learning and is involved in a writing, editing and evaluation team for Challenge exams in B.C. Stephanie has taught Core French (from Kindergarten to Grade 12) for 10 years. She is a member of the Executive Council of the Saskatchewan Association of Teachers of French and Chair of the Regina Core French Advisory Committee. Stephanie teaches Core French methodology at the University of Regina, and has published a variety of evaluation and assessment material packages including rubrics for Core French K-12. As a member of the Pearson team, Stephanie acts as a reviewer, field-tester, presenter and author.

Michael Salvatori has a varied background in education in Ontario and abroad. During the past 15 years he has taught, among other subjects, French Immersion and Core French at both the elementary and secondary levels. In leadership roles, Michael has served as a secondary school assistant department head, curriculum resource teacher, curriculum coordinator of Modern Languages and the Arts, elementary vice principal and elementary principal. Most of his experience in education in Ontario has been with the London District Catholic School Board. He has also taught in Europe: in Italy at Canadian College Italy and in France as part of the Peel Board of Education’s Global Education program. Michael is a contributing author of a number of FSL textbooks published by Pearson Education including: À la page 1 et 2, On y va! 1 et 2, Sans frontières, Nouvelles frontières 11e, 12e, and Ça marche! 2. Currently, Michael is the Coordinator of Membership Services at the Ontario College of Teachers.

Sharon has had 33 years experience in the field of education, including 13 years in Ottawa, teaching in French First Language at the Grade 1 and 2 levels. Over the past 20 years, she has taught Core French from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8 and worked as a Special Assignment Teacher for Core and Immersion teachers with the Algonquin & Lakeshore Catholic District School Board in Kingston. She has also been an instructor at Queen's University, teaching Additional Basic Qualifications FSL courses. Over the past six years, she has also worked as an Adjunct, teaching French Methodology in the Second language classroom to Teacher Candidates. She has also co-authored the On y va! 2 program; she wrote the unit called "Bizarre et fascinant!".
