Q: There is no way I can teach six units per year. How do I choose the units that are best for my classroom?
A: Ça marche! is composed of one introductory unit aimed at providing review and consolidation with which to begin the year, three beginner-to-intermediate units and two intermediate-to-advanced units. This provides you with a total of four lower level units and two more challenging units. Knowing the ability and progression that is typical of your students will allow you to choose the combination of units that works best for you. Entry and re-entry of all language structures are provided in a spiraled fashion to allow full coverage in less than six units.

Q: What can you tell me about your publishing process?
A: Our publishing process has taken a different tack from traditional processes. At Pearson Education Canada, we take very seriously our commitment to publish the best resources possible for teachers, parents and students. We have taken the time to test our material extensively in classrooms across the country. In addition to focus groups, expert reviewers, and one-on-one interviews we have had our pre-publication material tested in more than 40 schools and subjected to the every-day demands of classroom life. From these tests, we were able to make final changes and incorporate feedback from both teachers and students in the process. Because we took the time to employ this process, we can truly say that Ça marche! is a classroom resource designed for teachers and students, by teachers and students. If you have any further questions on our process, would like to see some of the changes that were made, or would like to join the Pearson Education Canada Team, please email us.
