Welcome to Savoir faire!

The goals of communicative competence and progressive language development lie at the heart of Savoir faire! Through projects and collaborative activities, students find opportunities to develop and integrate all four language skills. The ultimate intent of the program is to motivate and enable students to move from reliance upon the teacher and course materials to free expression of their own thoughts, feelings and beliefs. Culture is woven into the fabric of the entire program. A combination of pragmatic approaches to second language acquisition represents the heart and the strength of the entire Savoir faire! series.

Savoir faire! is a Canadian series composed of Images 3, Visages 1-3, Passages 1-3 and Voyages 1-3, and ranges from Grade 3 to Grade 12.
