Vic D'Amico

Vic has experience as a teacher, department head, administrator, Ministry of Education official, and school board superintendent. He has taught at the faculties of education at Queen's University, the University of Toronto and the University of Ottawa and has presented workshops and professional development seminars across Canada.
The awards Vic has received throughout his career are evidence of his success as an educator:
- Hilmer Award "Outstanding Business Education Teacher in Ontario"
- National Institute Award, sponsored by Northern Telecom
- Partners Award (Ottawa Carleton Learning Foundation)
- Ontario Association for Curriculum Development Award
He is now the Executive Director of the NECTAR Foundation, a developer of multimedia educational software programs. Vic is also an instructor on the Supervisory Officer's Qualification Program at Queen's University.

Ted Palmer
Executive Director
Business Education Council of Niagara
Ted Palmer specializes in aligning Ontario's publicly funded education system with economic and human resource development. Under his leadership, BEC Niagara has grown to become one of Canada's most innovative and influential learning partnership organizations. It plays a lead role in contributing to the economic renewal of the Niagara Region.
In 1998, Ted spearheaded the formation of and now chairs the Ontario Learning Partnership Group, an affiliation of school-business partnership organizations representing sixteen communities across Ontario.
A veteran educator and entrepreneur, Ted has designed policy for the Ontario Public School Boards' Association, and has worked as an accounting curriculum advisor with the Ontario Ministry of Education as well as the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities.
He is also the co-author of Accounting for Canadian Colleges.
Ted holds an Honours Degree in Business Administration and a Master's Degree in Educational Administration.
Tom D'Amico
Principal - Continuing and Community Education,
Ottawa Carleton Catholic District School Board
Tom brings a varied career in business, sports administration and education to his current position. He has managed a professional soccer team and is currently an off-ice official with the NHL. As a teacher he has worked as a department head in Business and Computer Studies and as a Vice-Principal, prior to taking up his current position.
Tom is an exemplary teacher who has focused on the use of technology in the classroom. The many awards received throughout his career are evidence of his dedication and innovation.
