Marketing Contest
"So, you think you know Marketing?"
Prove Your Skills in a Marketing Plan Contest!
Students across Canada are invited to submit their marketing plans. The winner will receive $500 and may see their marketing plan published in a Pearson textbook.
Summary of Contest Rules
- Your submission must be an original marketing plan written by an undergraduate student or group of students.
- Your submission must be accompanied by a complete Contest Entry Form. Go to the link below and print yourself a copy.
- The maximum length for the submission is 15 pages.
- Your marketing plan must be based on a real company with real data.
- The company chosen must provide written consent to allow publication of the marketing plan (A consent form is included on the entry form.)
- The marketing plan must follow the structure of the marketing plan outlined in Solomon/Stuart/Smith/Sirsi, Marketing: Real People, Real Decisions, 2nd Canadian Edition. The template for the Marketing Plan in the text is provided for you at the link below.
- Any submission becomes the property of Pearson Education Canada.
- The authors for the textbook will judge the submissions and select the winner.
- The winning marketing plan may be published in the Third Canadian Edition of Marketing: Real People, Real Decisions.
- The winning student or group of students will receive a cash prize of $500.
- Honourable mentions may be posted on the text website.
- The deadline for the contest is February 1, 2007. No submissions will be accepted after that date.
