Updated Data Files for Chai Tea Room

Before you begin: It has been brought to our attention that, on some computers, adding a new vendor to the Chai Tea Room data files causes the computer/program to freeze. Although we have been unable to recreate the error on our own computers and have not yet found any reason for this error, it appears to be a persistent, if not consistent, problem.

Therefore, we are providing a newly created version of this data set for you to download if you are experiencing this problem.

The new file exists in two versions, Basic and Pro, and the folders are clearly labelled Basic Chai and Pro Chai so that you can select the correct files for your system.

After downloading the files, check that the file attributes are correctly set (Read-Only is not selected). Right-click the file name and select Properties. If the Read-Only box is checked, click it to remove the attribute. Repeat this procedure for both files in the folder you are using.

We want to thank the instructors who brought this problem to our attention and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Access the Updated Data Files for Chai Tea Room in Basic and Pro versions below. To save a file, right-click the file name and choose "Save Target As..." and select the location you wish you save the file. Please note that you must save both files for each version in order to use the files.
