About the Authors:
Paul Tyers, CA, CFP, is the President of Retirement Counsel of Canada. He is a regular contributor to several professional journals, newspapers, radio and television programs on matters of personal finance. Paul lives in Mississaugua with his wife and two children.

G. Pierce Newman is the Director of Financial Education for Retirement Counsel of Canada. He has acquired nearly two decades of experience in the financial services profession, with a strong focus on superlative client service. For several years, Pierce was a Lecturer at the Business School of Humber College, and designed extensive course materials. He has also been a member of the Boards of Directors of several not-for-profit organizations.
