Rhonda Sandberg (Hon. BA, MA) has over 15 years in academia and publishing. Rhonda currently teaches all levels of English/Communication courses and is the Communications Coordinator for the Centre for Business at George Brown College. Her background includes university teaching and research assistantships, and she has co-edited an anthology, which includes her poetry. Along with having taught English/Communication and General Education courses at George Brown College, Rhonda has taught literature and business writing at Laurentian University, Seneca College, and Centennial College. She was an online Communication instructor for the Certified General Accountants of Ontario and was a consultant for The Bibliocentre. She has reviewed several English/communication and psychology textbooks for various publishers and has edited numerous publications in the humanities and social sciences. Rhonda is ideally suited for this project having used the text over the course of the past year in the classroom. She feels passionate about the text’s exemplary style and usability in the classroom. She has come to appreciate the many of the features that this text offers that its competition lacks: sound, engaging pedagogy; seamless integration of ESL material; sufficient practical exercises; and a reader-friendly approach.
