Write of Way

Rogers - Write of Way

Section

Section 1 - Taking Care of Business

Section 2 - Acing Schoolwork

Section 3 - Writing for Your Life

After studying the writing examples and completing the activities, you will write–more confidently and powerfully–business letters, job applications, petitions, and news releases, all kinds of documents you write to lead a rich life.

The Web pages show you how to apply the Write of Way COSA formula to participate more fully in your community. Have you ever heard a wedding toast so moving it made you realize how special the event was? "Writing for Your Life" shows you how to write for social occasions. Want to petition to outlaw video lottery terminals? Read the Web pages to learn how. Job applications, memos, newsletter articles, essay answers for tests—they're all here on the Write of Way web site.

I wrote this section of Write of Way because I wanted to help college students write more proficiently so they could get the most from life—and give the most. I hope you will use your greater writing proficiency to make yourself a better student, worker, citizen, and family member.
