Chapter 14 Technical Research-Internet Exercise

Decide on a topic area relevant to your career interests. Using the Internet, please complete the following:

1. Research the topic on the Internet using search engines, subject directories, and subject guides. Find at least fives different sources of information on your chosen subject. Please refer to the "Web Search Options" guidelines in Chapter 14 to assist you.
2. Write a descriptive abstract for each research article generated by your search. Please refer to the "Writing Research Abstract" guidelines in Chapter 14 to assist you.
3. Take one short article (five pages or less) from the research you generated, and write an informational abstract. Again, please refer to the "Writing Research Abstract" guidelines in Chapter 14 to assist you.
