Chapter 15 The Job Search-Internet Exercise

Visit three Web sites that advertise job postings related to a career you find interesting. The advertisement should match qualifications you have now or those you plan to have after you graduate from school. For all the assignment options, invent any information you need such as names and addresses. Please complete the following:

1. Apply to ONE of the three positions by writing a job letter and résumé. Choose a résumé format that is appropriate to the situation described in the job posting. Use whatever letter format your instructor requires. Please refer to the guidelines for writing job letters and résumés in Chapter 15 to assist you in this exercise.
2. Assume that you have completed a job interview for the position you applied to in the previous question. Write a follow-up letter to the interview. Please refer to the follow-up letter guidelines in Chapter 15 to assist you.
